Vegan Essentials

Vegan essentials are very simple; vegans do not eat any animal products. Also, veganism is a philosophy and way of life in which vegans avoid exploiting animals, fighting for animal rights and against animal testing. Veganism – is strict vegetarianism. Vegans, who do not eat animal products, but use items such as leather shoes, called “dietary vegans.”

In kitchens around the world, there are dishes based on plant foods and suitable for vegan diets. According to the encyclopedia, there are 2897 plants in the world that can be eaten. Therefore a vegan diet can be very diverse.
Vegan society was founded in 1944 by Donald Watson, and the word “vegan” gets by taking the first three and last two letters of the word “vegetarian” – “because veganism starts with vegetarianism and carries it to its logical conclusion.”

1. Who are vegans?
Vegetarians do not eat meat, fish, and chicken, turkey and so on. Vegans, in addition to what are vegetarians, do not use other animal products – eggs, dairy products, honey, and do not use the products and substances derived from animal flesh (skin, fur, silk, wool, cosmetics, and soap).

2. What is the vegans’ motivation?
People make a choice in favor of veganism in order to maintain health, a cleaner environment and/or for ethical reasons. For example, some vegans feel that the use of eggs and dairy products is the indirect support of the industry, “production” of meat. As soon as the cows that give milk, or chickens laying eggs, grow old, they are often sold for slaughter, because bulls do not give milk, they tend to grow in order to get veal or other products. Some people give up animal products because their production process is cruel and barbaric.

Many vegans choose this lifestyle, striving for more humane world order. Vegans know that they are not perfect, but believe that they have to do everything in their power to achieve this noble goal. At the same time, they do not condemn or criticize their neighbors who do not share their views.

3. Vegan’s confession is strictly Vegetarian. From their diet, they completely exclude all animal products, not only meat and fish but honey, milk and eggs. In addition, they limit themselves not only in food but also in everyday life. For example, clothing of leather, silk or fur in the locker room is not vegan. There are no drugs that are tested on animals (and in fact, all drugs are tested on animals) n the vegan’s medicine cabinet and when vegans are sick, they have to avoid all medicine even honey.

Vegan essentials – are the whole plant foods: vegetables, fruits, legumes, grains, soybeans, asparagus, oils and fats of vegetable origin only. In fact, the vegan’s menu can be made very beautiful and tasty, the average person who is not a vegetarian, eats such products each day – one difference –It could be the replacement of oil for cooking.
